Cooke County, Texas

Through a Texas Historical Commission Courthouse Restoration Grant, the plans and specifications are now completed for the comprehensive restoration of the 48,000 square foot 1911/12 courthouse.  The project recently was awarded a partial construction funding grant of $1.77m for the completion of the exterior restoration work initiated by the County.  The restoration master plan total construction cost estimate is $3.2 million for the remaining work.  Komatsu Architecture has been assisting the County since 1989.
