Komatsu Architecture designed the new 12,500 square foot fire station currently under construction at W. Rosedale and 12^th Avenue in Fort Worth, Texas.  This facility will replace the existing two-company, three-bay station being displaced by the widening of Rosedale Avenue  The new building will expand to a three-company station with four drive-through apparatus bays.  In addition to the working fire station, this building will house the Operations Division administrative offices. The prominent location of this project dictated a design that will help demarcate the entrance into an area of Fort Worth that is generally known as the Hospital District.
