Grand Prairie, Texas

The 1.63 acre site for the first branch library in Grand Prairie, Texas is located on a corner lot in a residential neighborhood.  The design establishes the presence of a civic institution while acknowledging the scale of the surroundings.  The 10,625 square foot building has parking for 67 cars.  Komatsu's architectural and interior design resulted in a significant design-bid-build project.
