Mission, Texas

This is a new addition to the In The Works portion of Komatsu Architecture.  This project has been awarded to D. Wilson Construction Company. 

The Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Mission will serve eligible veterans and their families in an eight county area of southern Texas, serving a veteran population estimated at over 55,000.  The cemetery site is approximately 75 acres and includes an administration building/public information center, maintenance garage with service bays and tool/part storage, a storage garage and service yard, and one committal shelter.  The cemetery will be constructed in several phases.  Phase One, located on 31 acres, will accommodate approximately 4,420 graves including 2,000 pre-planned crypts, 1,300 in-ground cremain sites and 500 columbaria niches.
